2026 SixTwelve Scotty Irani Cake Bake Off and Auction

Here's how it works! Everyone who wants to enter the Bake Off should bake a cake and follow these requirements:

• The SixTwelve Scotty Irani Cake Bake Off takes place on Saturday, April 11th and begins at 10am. By registering you are agreeing to be here at 9am to set up your cake and adhere to these rules. If for any reason you can’t be here please let us know as soon as possible so that we can let another baker into the competition. If you cancel at the last minute/after April 7th without it being an emergency, you will not be allowed to compete in future SixTwelve competitions. We will need time to fill your spot.

• Only Cakes, Cupcakes (at least one dozen) and brownies (one full pan) are accepted.

• All cakes, cupcakes and brownies should be at least 85% from scratch.

• All bakers are required to bring a printed copy of their recipe to the judging.

• This year we’re doing things a little differently! We’ll still have guest celebrity judges. EdibleOKC will still be involved, but we’ll give our community a chance to try the cakes and give their opinion too! We’ll photograph the whole cake when dropped off, cut the cakes in half and judge/taste from one half, while the other half will be saved to sell or auction after we announce the winners. (Also, We’ve decided to let the Easter Bonnet competition go this year. )

• We’ll have winners in the following categories:

  • Celebrity Judge Choice Award for 1st place among professional bakers

  • Celebrity Judge Choice for 1st place home bakers (anyone who doesn’t bake for a living)

  • Community Choice - if you want to be a guest judge, buy a ticket ($25) and we’ll give you a fork for tasting + judging rubric sheet to turn in. Community Judging will take place after the Celebrity Guest Judge judging session.

• First Place Overall Winner (selected by Guest Celebrity Judges) receives $250 + a post on EdibleOKC’s social media about the winner and their cake. Other awards to be announced soon!

• Outdoor music to take place for community entertainment (weather pending) - Band TBA!

• Registration period ends March 31st. We only take 25 cakes so apply early!

schedule for the day of the event:

• 9am: Bakers Arrive and begin to set up cakes

• 10am: celebrity guest Judging begins

• 11am: Community Judging Begins

• 12pm: Announcement and auction of winning cakes
